Students interested in the BMCB program should apply to the Arizona Biological and Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. program (ABBS).

The ABBS program integrates recruiting and admissions for 11 Ph.D. programs in the biological and biomedical sciences. Students are admitted to ABBS with no formal commitment to a particular Ph.D. program and are free to conduct their rotation research in laboratories of faculty associated with any of the programs. Thus, this program provides maximum flexibility for students to explore research opportunities from various perspectives. At the end of rotations, students will matriculate into one of the ABBS-affiliated graduate programs based upon their research interests and choice of dissertation advisor.  Students who matriculate into the BMCB program at the end of these rotations may select a Biochemistry or Molecular & Cellular Biology major.
