The BMCB major prepares students for careers in a variety of fields. The resources below are tools that can assist students in identifying interests and exploring career opportunities, including through internships and job opportunities.
Employment
Looking for employment opportunities (including on-campus jobs) or internships? UA's Handshake platform allows UA students and recent grads to search and apply easily.
Mentoring
Wildcat Mentor Society: The Wildcat Mentor Society is a transformative program that connects world-class alumni with the UA’s thought leaders of tomorrow in mutually beneficial mentorships. Mentees will gain knowledge on how to navigate everything from college to career to personal experiences. Mentors will enable them to build their professional network, strengthen their UA alumni network, and create deep, meaningful mentor-mentee relationships which may last well beyond this program.
Networking and Connecting
LinkedIn: Join the BMCB Group on LinkedIn. When you have an account, request to join the University of Arizona Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology Group.
